Christine Lalege Vincent

Christine Lalege Vincent is an Australian based artist who paints Afrocentric art. She founded Lalege Creative, an online platform designed to share and sell her work. The origin of her art journey started at a local African beauty pageant she participated in. She demonstrated her artistic talent by story telling through her artwork. The art piece on display at the beauty pageant was highly sought after and was auctioned for more than $600. Christine was inspired to share her work with other people. Her style of art are mainly portraiture of black people and incorporates African aesthetics. With each art piece, Christine aims to portray a positive and uplifting narrative about the black experience.
